UCM Cymru Gweithdai Polisi 2012

Yn dal i gael anhawster gyda chynlluniau ffioedd?  Eisiau gwybod sut y gall eich prifysgol ehangu mynediad?  A beth mae’r holl son am uno sefydliadau yn ei olygu?

Mae UCM Cymru’n lawnsio cyfres o weithdai di-dâl ar gyfer staff a swyddogion yn yr undebau myfyrwyr hynny sydd mewn aelodaeth.

Bydd pob un o’r digwyddiadau un-dydd yma’n sesiwn ddwys o drafod a rhannu ar fater polisi penodol.  Mae’r gyfres yn ymarferol ei ffocws gyda’r nod o:

  • gynorthwyo eich gwaith o fewn i’ch hundebau
  • annog trafodaeth ar draws y mudiad
  • gwneud y gorau o’ch mewnbwn i gynllun gwaith UCMC yn ystod y flwyddyn sydd i ddod

Gweithdy Polisi #1: Cynlluniau Ffioedd (4 Ebrill 11am - 4pm)

Bydd staff a myfyrwyr yn trafod pam fod gennym ni gynlluniau ffioedd, a sut y byddai un effeithiol yn edrych, yn ogystal â ffyrdd y gall undebau fynd ati i gyfrannu at ddatblygiad cynlluniau ffioedd.  Bydd cyfarwyddwr UCMC Hannah Pudner a swyddog polisi UCM DU Alan Roberts yn arwain y gweithdy.

Cynhelir y gweithdy yn swyddfeydd UCM Cymru, 2il Lawr, Adeiladau Cambrian, Sgwâr Mount Stuart, Caerdydd, CF10 5FL.

NUS criticises ‘Know Your Limits’ rape poster campaign

NUS has expressed huge concern today at the ‘Know Your Limits’ recent poster campaign to tackle rape. The poster points out that in a third of reported rapes the victim had been drinking and warns people to monitor their alcohol consumption. It is available for download on the Home Office website and has been sighted in NHS premises.
