NUS is working in partnership with PostgraduateStudentships on the Postgraduate Champions campaign. The website, which offers free information on sources of funding for postgraduate courses, has signed up to become a Postgradaute Champion, and will be working with NUS to promote a fairer system of postgraduate funding.

PostgraduateStudenships.co.uk is the first website in the UK to bring together all the different types of funding opportunities open to potential postgraduates, at both taught and research level. It was launched in 2006, and since then has developed two partner sites: MastersCompare.co.uk, which allows students to compare different masters courses; and MyPostgradApps.com, which is a free online application management service for postgraduates intending to apply for courses and for funding.

Rachel Wenstone, NUS Vice-President (Higher Education) has been working closely with Jane Penrose, Director of PostgradauteStudentships, to engage the website in the NUS campaign for fairer postgraduate taught funding. As part of the partnership between NUS and PostgradauteStudentships, the website has launched a blog where Rachel will be writing about postgraduate issues and updating readers on the NUS campaigns and work for postgraduates. Rachel is delighted to be working with PostgradauteStudentships, which she sees as a key source of information and impartial advice for postgraduates.

To formalise the partnership, PostgraduateStudentships agreed to sign the Postgraduate Champions charter, indicating their support for a fairer system of postgraduate funding that represents the diversity of students' needs. You can download and view the charter here.

You can also view Rachel's blog on the PostgradauteStudentships website by following this link.
