NUS Awards 2014

No ratings yet. Log in to rate.

Through expert training, support and knowledge students’ unions and NUS together continue to build a national movement that champions the rights of students – shaping the future of education and changing the communities we live in.

The NUS Awards 2014, kindly supported by Endsleigh, are a celebration of that work. From your union, the officers and staff, to inspirational stories of individual students and unsung heroes – a chance to reflect on the past year, celebrate achievements and share amazing stories from across the country.

This year there are 14 awards across 4 key categories that you can nominate for. From recognising the commitment and outstanding contributions to students’ unions from members of staff, officer teams and individual students through to sports teams, societies, student media and academic reps; there really is an award for everyone to nominate for.

The awards are judged by an independent panel of influential people from across the education sector and beyond. In previous years the awards have been judged by a host of experts from voluntary organisations from vInspired through to campaigning organisations like Oxfam and Save the Children.

Whether you nominate the winners of your own volunteering, sports and societies awards alongside your students’ union and your officers and staff – there’s only one way to find out whether you could join us at Students’ Unions 2014 in July as an award winner!

Nominations are open now and close midday on Wednesday 7th May 2014. You can find out all the information about all the awards and how to nominate over at the NUS Awards 2014 website.

For further information you can email nusawards@nus.org.uk

Believing in the celebration of excellence in students and students’ unions – Endsleigh have been a partner for the NUS Awards for the past six years. We are proud of their support in recognising some of the astounding achievements seen each year across the movement.
