NUS and the Higher Education Academy will be holding workshops across the country focussing on how to analyse SLTA nominations and how to put this theory into practice.
Students’ unions not only have SLTA data but lots of other qualitative data sets such as NSS data, SSLC minutes and such. It is worth noting that these workshops aim to give Students’ unions the skills to analyse any qualitative data that they may have.
In order to take part in the workshop, you will be required to send over your SLTA data in electronic format to Jen Swain, NUS Project Officer. Please note that this data will be anonymised to comply with confidentiality policy.
There will be a choice of 4 workshops:
· Wednesday 23rd April, Strathclyde Students’ Association (North East & Scotland SUs)
· Thursday 1st May, Manchester Students’ Union (For North West SUs)
· Thursday 8th May, Birmingham City Students’ Union (For SUs based in the midlands)
· Friday 16th May, KCLU Students’ Union (For London based SUs)
The event will be free to all delegates but NUS unfortunately cannot cover travel costs.
If you would like to RSVP for a workshop, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 16th April
