Education Write Off
18-25 November 2010
In less then one month there is likely to be a vote in Parliament, which will determine whether or not the government implement proposals to raise the tuition fee cap to £6000-£9000 and scrap the Education Maintenance Allowance scheme.
During the week of 18-25 November we are calling on students’ unions to continue the funding campaign in the form of an Education Write Off, inspired by officers from EUSA who got 1000 students to write to their MP about the up coming vote on tuition fees.
The Education Write Off campaign is designed to place pressure on those MPs who are likely to break their pledge, focusing not only on Lib Dem MPs but all those that signed the pledge and made a commitment to student voters prior to the 2010 general elections.
