Officer Development

Leading active student involvement

Whether it be on the sports field or in the debating chamber – getting students actively involved in student led activities, is key to being a truly student focused organisation.

This course will look at the officer portfolio of leading student activities, exploring themes of changing student demographics, democratic functions of student activities and campaigning for a better student experience.

As well as exploring a range of topical issues, ideas and challenges for the year ahead.

We’re excited to announce that this year as part of the Leading Active Student Involvement programme, we will be inviting students’ union staff to join the officers for the first Student Opportunities Conference!
