International

European Students Union is the umbrella organisation of 45 National Unions of Students (NUS) from 38 countries (September 2011). The NUSes are open to all students in their respective country regardless of political persuasion, religion, ethnic or cultural origin, sexual orientation or social standing. Our members are also student-run, autonomous, representative and operate according to democratic principles.

NUSUK is a full member of ESU. We engage with them on a number of different levels - by attending conferences and democratic events, helping shape policy and by partnering on research projects. The main project we are working on is "Financing the students' future".

If you are interested in becoming more invloved in the work NUS does with ESU then you should join our European Co-ordination Steering Group. Just email Christina Yan Zhang.
